The standard engine and transmission combination for the Sentra is a four-cylinder engine making 124 horsepower and 125 lb.-ft. of torque mated to a continuously-variable transmission. Nissan has updated the CVT over years so that it can provide up to 30 MPG in combined driving. The 2018 Sentra is also pleasantly compliant on the road, with direct steering.
You can also take advantage of the SR Turbo and Nismo trim packages which get a turbocharged variant making 188 horsepower and 177 lb.-ft. of torque. They also get larger wheels and tuned suspension.

It all starts with the S trim which is surprisingly well-equipped for a compact sedan, including Bluetooth connectivity for the stereo and a five-inch screen as well as automatic headlights. The SV is a popular choice with alloy wheels, six-speaker stereo, dual-zone automatic air conditioning.
At the top of the line are the SR, SL and SR include amazing features like leather, Bose audio, moonroof, and more. They are also equipped with one of the roomiest cabins in the class. There is actually enough space for four adults!
Safety Features
A trend towards active safety features is common, but that they are standard on the 2018 Nissan Sentra are impressive. That includes automatic braking to limit collisions. There are also six airbags and available blind-spot monitoring systems as well. Those combined with top marks in IIHS crash tests make it a great option for buyers worried about safety.
