Design

Nissan plays up the comfort in the 2019 Altima with Zero Gravity seats and available heating for the driver and front passenger. Available Intelligent Climate Control and Dual-Zone Automatic Temperature Control also ensure everyone is cozy in their own space, especially when combined with remote start to get the car warmed up or cooled down before you even get in.

The new Altima also features an Advanced Drive-Assist Display that gives drivers helpful information on navigation, incoming messages, media, and even your current windshield wiper settings.

Technology

Furthering the car’s technological prowess, NissanConnect® enables the Altima to interface with your smartphone and a number of apps that make traveling easier. There are USB and USB Type C ports for you to use, and Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ are both supported.

New Nissan models are also available with a variety of Intelligent Mobility features designed to assist you while driving and make each journey safer. These features are standard on the Altima SV and above:

  • Automatic Emergency Braking
  • Rear Automatic Braking

Performance

The headlining performance feature of the 2019 Altima is its VC-Turbo™ engine, a 4-cylinder that puts out V6 power to the tune of 236 hp and 267 lb.-ft. of torque. Drivers can also opt for an efficient 2.5L Direct Injection Gasoline 4-cylinder engine that gets an estimated 28 mpg in the city and 39 mpg on the highway.

The new Altima also has the honor of being the first Nissan sedan available with Intelligent All-Wheel Drive (AWD). This drivetrain seamlessly shifts between front-wheel and all-wheel drive depending on the conditions ensuring both maximum traction and efficiency.
