The Rogue was designed with families in mind.  “The all-new Rogue was purposefully designed to meet all of the needs of today’s young families,” said Mike Colleran, senior vice president, Nissan U.S. Marketing and Sales. “Rogue is playing to win in the midsize crossover game with the ideal mix of expressive design, advanced technology, safety, comfort and versatility.” The Rogue will deliver functionality, flexibility, technology and safety, all aimed at making life easier.

The Rogue “Family Hub”

2021 Nissan Rogue Family Hub

The 2021 Nissan Rogue’s interior is a “family hub,” bringing comfort and utility to both the front and rear passengers. All 4 doors now work with Nissan Intelligent Key. When the key is in proximity, all four doors can now be locked or unlocked using the handle’s press button.

The rear doors themselves are wider and open to almost 90 degrees, making it easier to install or remove car seats. This also provides easier entry and exit for all passengers, whether the be two legged or four! Car seat installation is a breeze, with the added flexibility of install in all 3 rear seating positions. Anyone who has ever had a car seat and two additional adult or older children passengers understands how great it will be to have a center positioned car seat.

NASA inspired zero gravity seats and available heated back seats offer added comfort. Built in pull up shades help block intense sunlight for rear passengers. They’ll also be able to control their climate separately from the driver and front passenger with Tri-Zone Climate Control!

The “butterfly” opening center console is also a nice touch for families, allowing for both front and rear passengers to access what’s inside. Remote start with Intelligent Climate Control is available, allowing the driver to heat or cool the vehicle before placing a small child or pet inside.

The third digital screen is a 9 inch floating touchscreen for navigation, audio display, climate control, and camera monitors.

Rogue’s Commanding Design

2021 Nissan Rogue Design

The exterior and interior design of the Rogue reflects the spirit if the vehicle – versatile, fun and adventurous. It adopted the newest signature Nissan design elements, like the floating roof and a new V-motion grille. The unique multi-level LED headlights with expanded illumination are standard on all trim levels. LED fog lights are standing on the SL and Platinum trim levels.

The body measures 1.5 inches shorter and 0.2 inches lower than the previous Rogue. This change adds to the aggressive look, while increasing maneuverability. A wide range of color combinations and five two-tone combinations will be available, a Rogue first.

The interior design is equally impressive. All of the Family Hub features mentioned above make the interior as practical as it is beautiful. The quilted semi-aniline leather seats standard on the Platinum offer a look of luxury. The newly designed electronic shifter reduces the need for mechanical equipment beneath the console, providing additional storage space and a unique floating design.

2021 Rogue: A Premium Driving Experience

2021 Nissan Rogue Performance

While all of the above features are great, an important factor of any new vehicle will always be driving experience.

In addition to enriched fuel efficiency and performance, the 2021 Nissan Rogue features a new Vehicle Motion Control system. “This is technology that does what a human can’t,” said Chris Reed, senior vice president, Research and Development, Nissan Technical Center North America. “The all-new Vehicle Motion Control predicts what the driver is trying to do to do by monitoring steering, acceleration and braking. It can then step in and help to smooth things out.”

Vehicle Motion Control works with the Intelligent AWD system and Drive Mode Selector to provide individual wheel control. It can even apply a single brake when necessary to smooth out sharp corners. The Rogue with AWD features 5 different drive modes, including Off-road, Snow, Standard, Eco and Sport. The Vehicle Motion Control system is particularly useful when driving on snowy slopes, deep snow, and off-road conditions. This makes the Rogue better than ever before, especially for adventurous Colorado drivers!

Every 2021 Rogue features a standard 2.5-liter DOHC inline 4-cylinder engine with Nissan’s Direct Injection Gasoline system. Horsepower comes in at 181 with 181 lb-ft of torque.
